In addition to Meida’s Sock, I have something bigger going on for Project Spectrum.
It’s the start of a Trapeze Jacket. I’m using Alpaca With A Twist in a lovely apricot color. I have to admit its not the most pleasant knit. Tickly alpaca, lots of slipped stitches and a pattern that requires shuffling of pages. (Are all Stitch Diva pattern layouts so haphazard? I’m somewhat disappointed.) Anyhoo, I’m hoping the end product will be worth it. You’ll have to forgive the vague picture, there just isn’t much to see yet.
How about a peek into my fireplace instead? (Yay for free firewood in the form of wood pallets! Not nearly as romantic as the traditional tree log, or as eco-freindly as those coffee ground fakey-logs, or as icky as those Duraflame things, but it will do on a cold February night. :)
