I am the laziest knitter in the world
Feb 20th, 2008 by nikki
So lazy, in fact, that I paid someone else to knit me and and Pablo* socks.

Someone, and I cannot remember who, had a link to Fernwood Woolworks on their blog. (If its was you, dear reader, Thanks!) At first, the thought of paying someone to knit my precious yarn seemed ridiculous. Then I took a peek into my yarn stash. Two skeins of boring Lang Jawoll Cotton were glaring at me from the depths of the sock yarn bin. So boring that I had no takers with my earlier attempts at destashing. It was then I realized that for a modest fee I could have them knit into socks!

Then I saw the skein of self-striping sock yarn that I dyed for Pablo. It’s my Merino Stripes yarn in ‘Electricity’. Into the mail it went without a second thought.

Ta-da! Two pairs of socks!
______
*I love to say Pablo. Its much more fun than my husbands actual name. Pablo. Pablo. Pablo.

Tee hee! “Pablos” debut photo shoot for MamaBlues’ new site, huh?? Was his hair combed? ;) Joke… The snocks came out bonita! What a grand idea you had!
i’ve seen this shop too! it’s a great idea and the socks came out beautiful.
