I attended a baby shower a couple of weekends ago. I received my invitation in plenty of time, but the date crept up on me. You know what that leads to…
… giving a half-finished gift. This was the first time I’d ever gifted an incomplete knit, and it’s not a good feeling. If this situation comes up again, I’ll bite the bullet and go to Target and shop off the registry.

Needles :: Knit Picks size US1.5 2.5mm (magic loop)

In other news, I bought I spindle. And fiber. And a book. And I made yarn!
It’s wonky and puffy and twisty, but I made it. What a great feeling. I bought the Kundert spindle and fiber as a kit from Spunky Eclectic. It came with the spindle and two 4 ounce bundles of roving. What you you see above is BFL in Emerald Isle. This was so much fun, there will definitely be more spinning to come.
